Typo? I definitely was not looking at her boots...

They must have added several inches to her height, because actually (at least according to IMDb data) she is 11 inches shorter than Brendan.

Her boots are traditional scandinavian sealskin boots. They're hard to come by (since they're made from seals and all), but mukluks should be easier to find.

From the stills from the movie it looks like they could be from Meindl or Scarpa..
