How would you rate his presidency on scale of 1-10?
I give it a 5.
shareOne.
share1, but only because there's no zero option.
shareI give it a 0.
share6. The main thing is that he didn't fuck up everything. That was the objective of Bush, Jr., who presided over 9/11 and the Iraq War. Clinton spent the latter part of his presidency getting sucked off my Monica while turning a blind eye to Al Qaeda, leading to 9/11. Trump got hundreds of thousands killed by ignoring COVID. Biden sunk America's economy and left America's borders wide open, in the hope that the people entering would be given citizenship and his party getting the resulting votes.
shareHe is ranked No. 10 out of all the presidents (Biden not included) on C-SPAN presidential rankings. Lincoln is No. 1. Buchanan is last. Trump is in bottom 5. History changes rankings. Since Obama has been president, he’s gone up a notch or two on the list. He’s No. 12 on other lists. Apparently, Grant has dropped on the list.
shareHow about "Blowjob Bill"? I put him higher than Obama. The 90s was a great economic time because of "Blowjob Bill".
shareBB got a No. 19. Because of the blowjob and power of lying about getting it lowered his score so if you are asking why he got a lower score than Obama, the blowjob maybe the reason. I don’t know the performance rating of Monica however or any other blowjob recipient or giver with regard to a president in their lifetime. But BB got a high score in economic management and then a low score in moral authority. Obama got a high rating in moral authority and economic management and just about all the categories - but the highest was in pursuit of equal justice for all but lowest in relationship with congress.
shareWho gives a shit about "moral authority" though. That has no bearing on running the country. That "criteria" is quite folly.
shareIf moral authority means asking a married man if he was with a woman other than his wife and he lies about it, I think we are going to have a real problem. So, I agree with you. He was impeached for lying though. There are 10 categories these historians use to rate presidents. The historians are varied and an accredited mix.
shareIt's folly. A president's personal life should have no bearing at all.
I'm sure many past ex-presidents were not faithful to their wives. "Blowjob Bill" is far from the only one. Also, many ex-presidents were clearly racists. Should that have an impact too on their ranking?
Actually, that’s happened. As far as racism, Woodrow Wilson really dropped. There are others. Some were slaveowners. Lincoln and Washington have remained at the top consistently and Buchanan at the very bottom. Anybody can google this. It is amazing how through time, some presidents are viewed differently than what they were at the time.
shareMorality has no bearing on running a country? It has everything to do with it. That is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard anyone say.
share-1
share5 is accurate. He could've made a 7, had he not signed off on The Dear Colleague letter, and been a lot more forceful in opposition to this Woke shit than he was during his Presidency and afterwards
