It’s been two weeks now since President Trump was shot in the face and we still have no straight answers from the Secret Service (Cheatle), Mayorkas or Wray, just curious and absurd stonewalling, like Wray's comment before Congress that they're not sure if it was a bullet, piece of glass or shrapnel that struck Trump in the ear. He survived an obvious assassination attempt, but they keep glaringly playing it down. Why would they do this?

First of all, the visible trail is due to a sudden difference in air pressure caused by the projectile. It's not even some deep mystery, there's simple science behind it and it is a common topic among hunters and other shooters and is also part of sniper training.
There are tons of videos online where you can see these trails clearly. Tons.
