TMI:CoB a flop - good or bad for Robert's career?

As they seem to have cancelled the second film City of Ashes - what do you think, is it a good thing to his career or not?
I really liked his playing Simon and was happy he would get an even bigger appearance in the 2nd film...

I agree on your assessment of the talent. Everyone is so quick to say how these young actors have no talent. This is the same crap they used to say about Pitt, Depp, and a host of other actors and they have made a name for themselves, no matter what people think of them. I adore Jamie so I can't really be swayed about his talent. I think he is still learning and growing. To me Lily is OK, and I think she can get better too. I have not seen a lot from JCB, Lily, or Robert so I think it is too early to say what CoB will do to their careers. They could be in a major film tomorrow and be huge because that is how this biz works. Now back to Robert, he is a good actor already. I saw him in the first episode of Love/Hate just the other day and I was just thought his range was ridiculously good! Plus, he has chameleon quality to him that will serve him well in his career. His character on Misfits is very different than on Love/Hate and very different than Simon. Now, I happen to like CoB so I hope he does get to showcase his talent in the next one CoA. I do no think the success of CoB will have any real effect on Robert or Jamie's careers. I think if CoA is made and does well they will be fine and even it does not they will be fine. I have to say I do agree this was Lily's vehicle but, I think she will be OK too. They are all still very young too.
