What's up with his coloring? It'll go from sort of pale, but not too pale to dark. I know some people tan easier than others. It's interesting. I have also noticed he was dark as a child. And the coloring is like a olive caramel.EVen when he's pale, he has a brownish undertone. It's weird.

I have olive-toned skin - very similar to his - and I was so dark as a child (growing up in Miami) that people thought I was Indian. As an adult, I'm pretty pale. Skin gets lighter with age unless you stay out in the sun a lot.
I always assumed (probably incorrectly) that the 'black Irish' complexion was a result of some kind of Iberian/Spanish migration or maybe just Spanish pirates or sailors landing on the shores of Ireland hundreds of years ago. If that's at all true, it explains why some darker people (like Colin Farrell) tan better than people with the average Irish skin.
Either way, seems like stars with black Irish looks are always the most beautiful people.
He does have an interesting complexion.
