Gave Trump an unfair amount of debate time.

Trump spoke for approximately 42 minutes and 52 seconds, while Harris spoke for 37 minutes and 36 seconds.

what's your point?

reply

ABC moderators caved and allowed Trump to stand on his bully pulpit and dominate the debate time. Trump continued to speak out of turn and the moderators turned on Trump's mic when they should have made him wait his turn to speak.

Trump has no clue how to properly debate as a presidential candidate. Actually the word "presidential" is not in Trump's vocabulary. He has no clue what the word means.

Even FOX commentators have stated Harris won this debate.

reply

"ABC moderators caved ..." or they gave him more than enough rope to hang himself.

reply

They unmuted Trump's mic when he had outbursts, and let him speak, when it was supposed to be muted mics.

Oh well. Harris still won even with 5 minutes less speaking time. Trump walked right into traps talking about how he knew people who worked on Project 2025 and how they do amazing work with the Heritage Foundation, after he said he knew nothing about it. What an idiot.

reply

They wanted as much of the things this petulant child said to be heard.

reply

The moderators debated Trump, so of course Trump will have more speaking time.

reply

Rebutting with facts isn't debating.

reply

No, rebutting with facts is the basis of debating. However, a moderator rebutting is not a debate but a farce.

poor baby

Yes, attack me not my claims.

I was referring to Trump

Then you support a farce debate.

They didn't debate #45. He had kiddish outburst that took time. He's one angry dude.

Trump is good at debating but he has problems with expressing himself eloquently and this problem is so apparent that I almost think he has a learning disability. Fact is, it really shouldn't be very difficult to beat Kamala Harris in a debate. Although, I don't think Trump necessarily "lost", he surely didn't "win".

At the end of the day, we can talk about the statements he made that weren't accurate but Kamala made plenty of them too, for example, she is still peddling the debunked notion that Trump called tiki torchers "fine people".

That is not even her biggest problem though, her problem is the complete 180 she took in order to get more votes. One day she's against fracking, the next day she's for it, one day she's all for defunding the police, the next day she's not. the list goes on and on and on...

I have no idea what this woman will do if she becomes president, but no matter what she decides to do, I'm sure her values haven't changed, whatever the fuck that means.... At least I have some idea of what Trump will do... he has a track record to go by.

As for who got the most talk time.. I think it was a mistake for Harris to needle Trump because he ended up getting the last word numerous times and when he did, he won those exchanges. Low information voters won't really notice it but he straightened out Kamala several times...

reply

Yeah, he has a learning disability that enabled him to become a Billionaire over the course of 45 Years while running his Business Empire in NYC. Please stop

reply

lol... having a learning disability doesn't mean you're dumb. Many a stable geniuses have had them.

My guess is ADHD, although not exactly a learning disability, it would explain his spasmodic behavior. I don't have anything against Trump per se'. I agree with many of his policies, but yeah, he can act a little on the hyper side sometimes.

reply

That's because Trump actually had issues to bring forth while Harris had 0 and used that time to goad Trump with her people telling her what to say t him with that elaborate looking wire in her ear that looks remarkably like an earing and it's documented too
