I was just wondering if anyone here has had the opportunity to meet Danneel Harris. I wanted to know about her personality in person and/or reaction to fans. Please do not make up a story... I know I'll have no way to tell but I'm really hoping for some honest answers.

shareYes, several times. She's pretty, very slender always dresses very casually and nothing revealing or outlandish just normal type casual clothing. Needs to smile more because she tends to be very solomn looking when her face is at rest and I think that often gets mistaken for her being unhappy or upset.
I personally haven't had any positive experiences with Danneel in the situations I have seen her in but that's just the way it's been and maybe someday there will be one.

shareMet her a couple of days ago at the AHBL supernatural convention down in Australia...at first I was a bit nervous cos of the all the reports about her being stuck up, b*tchy to jensen fans etc...she was there while Jensen was signing auto's at the convention and I tried to smile at her but she kinda looked away...that was kinda annoying..BUT then we went to the cocktail party on the saturday night and me little sister is a fan of hers from OTH so I went up and told her so and she smiled, outstretched her hand and asked for both our names. She was probably the sweetest person I've ever met, she complimented my little sister on her head band, and was geniunely pleased to talk to everyone..she took photo's with anyone who asked, smiled, laughed and joked with everyone. She spoke solely to me and my sister for ten minutes, talking about how we should go visit louisanna cos its lovely and I was telling her about how I went down to Memphis and totally fell in love with the south.
On the Sunday day at the convention I bumped into her again coming out of the vip sorta room, and she remembered me and said hi and I asked her if it would be ok if when we'd gotten our auto's with Jared and Jensen if my little sister could also get hers...she grinned and said of course. She, along with Jared, Jensen and Misha (of course) made my weekend!

Wow, what a great experience :). I'm so glad to hear a few positive experiences with her. Hopefully I will meet her one day ;). She seems so sweet/funny in interviews.
shareI agree with Jaclyn, I hang out on the Jensen and SPN boards a lot and you can't even say her damn NAME on there or the hate will be swift and hard. It's nice to read about a firsthand encouter that she was friendly and sweet, and she even rememberd you from the other day. so personaly as a Jensen fan I enjoyed reading about your encounter with DH.

I think Danneel isn't approachable at conventions and the like because she doesn't want to be approached there. I think she just wants to be close to Jensen, but it's Jensen that all the fans are there for so why should she steal the limelight? I think that's the case, personally.
I went to AHBL to and she was sitting with another lady chatting quietly and she looked so cute - tired! - and was patiently waiting for Jensen to finish signing the hundred of signatures he had to sign.
Keep it up Danneel, we know dating Jensen Ackles must be harder than it looks ;)
