Brady wouldn't have made that play, and even if he had a small chance to make it, its better to not risk it in the early parts of the season.
As for McFly, did you really ask why defensive players make tackles? You can't be that dumb. And do the Patriots have a better record than the Bills right now? Does one game make a season?
