shareLook at the movie again. Redmayne's character Einar/Lili is not gay,and there is no homosexual activity. Einar rebuffs the advances of Eric, who later becomes a "safe" friend and confidant for Lili. Redmayne's natural appearance and acting ability make for a successful portrayal of a woman--as you say below, like one from the 20's.
