I appreciate the fact that he can admit to being less liberal than most of Hollywood, but at the same time, I find it disheartening. He seems like a very nice guy, but this kind of quote seems to suggest he's bigoted towards people who don't share his beliefs. I think his comment is brave, but foolish, as least from a publicity standpoint.

I have to agree. It is a bit bigoted. And it isn't religion ruining this world. It's other things.

Is a doctor bigoted when he tells you your hallucinations aren't real? And I'm sure you could come up with many religious practices which are ruining the world in some fashion. It's ruining politics in the US. Chris mentions it in the article how a president has to be Christian or pretend to be Christian in order to win an election.

I imagine when he says, "religion," he's speaking strictly of Christianity. One thing I noticed is that Islamism is the greatest, most peace loving, most caring religion in the world, and everybody loves them. They intend to harm nobody, and they have done nothing but make the world a better place.

So, it's just the Christians. Right?
