She seems to be flavour of the month at the moment, but I actually think she's an average actress and nothing special.
Defimitely not worthy of all the praise she's receiving.

sharecouldn't agree more - NO WAY DID SHE DESERVE THE OSCAR FOR THE FAVOURITE - SOOOOO OVERRATED - but she has yet to do anything but deliver lines with an ENGLISH ACCENT which the ACADEMY GOES GA-GA (& not Lady) OVER - PLUS SHE LOOKS WAY WAY WAY OLDER THAN 48 - I THOUGHT FOR SURE SHE WAS IN HER 60'S - if she gets oscar # 2 for the UNBEARABLY BORING (the lost daughter) - I WILL NO LONGER HAVE FAITH IN THE ACADEMY AWARDS - THE BAFTA'$$$ NEVER NEVER GIVE AMERICAN ACTORS & ACTRESSES ANY RESPECT OVER THEIR ENGLISH COUNTERPARTS - SOMETIMES ... BUT VERY VERY RARELY

shareShe’s an amazing actress with a lot of range. I first watched her on Peep Show, one of the funniest British comedies ever made, you must check it out. She was great in that. She made me cry in The Night Manager, her line delivery was so good.
