At the Zooey launch event on Sunday, Amanda mentioned she was a vegan - for about four years now!

Awesome! I went vegan about 4 years ago myself (was vegetarian for about 12 years before that) and it's amazing how much better/healthier you feel even compared to vegetarian.

If we're not supposed to eat animals, how come they're made of meat?
