What a jerk... those two blondes were smoking hot

They probably ignored him like he deserved to be ignored, because he's a loser and a nerd.

They didn't deserve to die, but I guess the lesson here is "at least be nice and not a bitch".

But losers like Bryan probably assume if a girl is nice to him that she'll fuck him. So there's that.

Is there any evidence that the killer had any interaction with the victims beforehand?

This whole case was bizarre, like a horror film or something. Fact is stranger than fiction.

reply

The information is all being kept pretty tight, but there is a lot of speculation that he did encounter at least one of the women, probably the hottest one up on the shoulders of her friend, in the photo. Wow she was a smoke show.

reply

I didn't think they looked that great in the main photo released to the media (the one where one of them is sitting on the other's shoulders), but I saw another photo of the two blonde victims together and yeah, they looked really beautiful, like the kind of girls a weird fucker like kohberger would be infatuated with.

If he did have an interaction with them, it's obvious he felt rejected or ignored. The savagery of the murders suggests something deeply personal, like the guy was embarrassed or shamed in some way.

reply

Yeah other than a CHARLES MANSON cult or the TV show THE FOLLOWING, usually multiple, multiple stab-wound crimes are the result of a personal hate-crime.

It's easy to speculate that he's a nerd, loser, virgin.... they are sizzing hot and maybe at one time said "hi", he followed her/them on Instagram, stalked more, she/they noticed, said "get lost", and that was the end. His Continued stalking revealed more just how smoking hot they were, and he just can't have them living if he can't have them. Plus revenge for being mean to him.

That's the most likely scenario.

I read he was a teaching assistant at the university. He probably ogled them and they rightfully gave the reject the stinkeye and his ego took a hit.

Very sad & disturbing story.

I love how they can use family DNA to nail the guy. Compared to a lot of unsolved murders, they did some good detective work here. Got neighbor-cam video of his car, narrowed down all 20-or-so of those type vehicles in the area to him, and then I think they first got his father's DNA to match the knife sleeve left at the scene, and confirm him as a likely match.

reply

I wonder if this case would've gone unsolved if it happened 40 plus years ago. Without all those cctv cameras, plus his smartphone being tracked, do you think they could've caught him? It was such a random, motiveless murder.

Just think, there's a shit ton of Bryan Kollbergers out there who got away with murders like this in the time before dna, cell phones, cctv etc. The scumbag was basically a modern day jack the ripper if he did this in a different era.

reply

I think you're right. I don't think they stood a chance without the CCTV footage. He did not seem to be overtly stalking them enough that he was noticeable. Of course more will come out in the trial, but I'm sure students would have spoken to the press (who doesn't want their five minutes of fame?) if they really knew something creepy about him, related to those hotties.

Not in the days/months beforehand, no. I didn't read about anything he was doing that was suspicious in the lead up to it.

The dick got busted because right before the murders, cctv caught someone driving a car up and down the street where the victims lived, then tracked his phone in the area. That's the one good thing about living in this era, it's really difficult for murderers to get away with it. I'm sure this would've been a mystery before.

reply

His real mistake was he panicked and left the knife sheath at the scene, with his DNA on it. He didn't have any convictions which put his DNA on-file, but they were able to eventually convict him by matching his DNA.

He was smart enough to leave his cellphone off or at home during the crime, but he had it with him all the times he was stalking them, which will be used as evidence against him.

reply

I think it was his father's DNA they got. Didn't they stage a fake traffic stop to get it?

He was smart enough to turn his phone off when he entered the house, but didn't figure he could be tracked entering the town and then leaving it shortly after the murders, then on the road out of town. They knew his movements all night, pretty remarkable.

I think murderers nowadays must get frustrated when planning their deeds, knowing all the steps they have to take to avoid detection haha.

reply

Meh. I don't find vacuous party girls hot.

reply

I do. I would have tried to nail them in college for sure.

The Idaho 4 had their deaths staged partly so they could avoid prosecution for the drug overdose deaths of Hannah Cleere and Hudson Lindow but also because the drug cartel involved does not want to be known. Kohberger is a drug cartel member who "is here to help" the drug cartel with the drug overdose deaths.

You psychopaths know this because you are in the same drug cartel as Kohberger.
