The only thing that they can control is how they choose to let these things affect them. After all, in the grand scheme of things does it really matter & and should it really matter if, like you say, these things are trivial, so why make a bigger deal out of it than necessary. Most people quickly learn that those who hang onto small things and “sweat the small stuff,” are being unreasonable and there is no use trying to argue with them.
