What's Next for Sarah?
A semi-autobiographical web series written, produced, and starring Jennette McCurdy "What's Next for Sarah?" tells the story former child star Sarah Bronson as she attempt to figure out what to do after her show gets cancelled. The show focusing on paroding "some of the more absurd experiences [Jennette] faced growing up in the entertainment industry" as opposed to being an accurate portrayal. It's okay (or possibly good).
Perhaps the most interesting thing about the show is that Sarah isn't funny. Instead she's forced to endure the ridiculous fame obsessed personalities of those around her. She's there to react. To be honest she's a bit boring. Unless all four current episodes are viewed as a whole which I think they should. Sarah might be the lead but she start out just as much a archetype as everybody else; she's technically honest but not confrontational. Only at the end of the fourth episode does she make herself heard even if only a little. The four episodes together would actually make a pretty good pilot.
