He was one of the best characters in Gone Girl so I see him being offered more roles in other major mainstream projects. His fan base will grow as he becomes a popular character actor - this in addition to his own projects. Besides, like cluemein said, the black community is already well aware of his sexual status as we are with all the other so called in the closet black celebs. The younger black generation isn't that hung up on sexuality anyway. It's so prevalent in America now that it is becoming more acceptable and people are becoming less judgmental. You've got the Supreme Court upholding same sex marriage - and this is a conservative court! I know it hurts many people to accept this because he's been criticized for so long but Tyler will probably go on to become one of the major talents in Hollywood black or white, straight or gay.
