I feel the show is now making her wear that sweatshirt more not only for the storyline but also because she seems to be pretty chesty now.
I was thinking they are doing that so people aren't distracted away from the character she plays.

shareI thought it was just because it was hilarious, and showed how proud Sue was. It really is a funny part of the story. I don't think her chest is big enough to be distracting, though I don't generally notice chests haha.

Well, judging by the season 4 premiere, the sweat shirt from last season is gone and it's safe to say that Sue Heck has grown a bit over the summer.

They're just so...noticeable and putting her in sweaters and baggy shirts only really makes it more obvious.
They might as well go ahead and do the inevitable Sue makeover episode and acknowledge shes a hottie anyway.
Y'know one of those episodes where they make her 'hot' then of course after all the misplaced attention shes getting she learns her own self worth and decides to just be herself afterall.
