Terrible news.
They have a new singer which means they'll be releasing even more shit music.

I'm not going to read it. Sounds like a cult.

The irony of this.

shareI just heard the new song. It was horrible. Female singer doesn't work.
Signed, million man.
A new singer doesn't mean shit music. They just need to know what they're doing. Aren't they rather too old to be doing this? Can they capture the same relevancy they did decades ago? I don't think they should even bother at this point. The new singer looks way younger than the other dudes. Just looks off.
shareAs a completist, I will buy the new album, however, I think it may well be a train wreck; their last album ‘One More Light’ wasn’t up too much and was a departure from their usual stuff.
shareThe new singer highlights the problem of what's always been there. It's nonsense music. Just banging drums and ringing guitars. There's no actual meat there. The meat was Chester's vocals. He was the "guitar solo". The band is still doing what they've always done, but the cherry is missing from the sundae. And she sings good too, she sounds great. It's just not enough.
shareChester was a fool to take his life. All because another singer died? Clearly a weak man and this was a leader of a group. Some representation, take your life when you get too depressed. HA! Did he not think of how his bandmates would feel or be left to clean up and try to manage without him? He gets no sympathy from me.
