Too many women in the RE franchise. We have Alice, Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine and inexplicably Kmart.
Saying that, there would be no harm in putting her in the film and killing her off, no offence.
And yes there does appear to be a lack of latino/asian women in the RE franchise. Especially due to the one and only latino woman in the franchise being so badass in the first film. (Michelle Rodriguez)
