What kind of fighting training?

His bio doesn't say if he has any fighting training, or if he is simply acting it.

I don't particularly like the MMA style that Cox displays at the start of the Daredevil series, although he doesn't perform it bad actually. It looks a little bit too soft and would prefer to see more american karate or Tae kwon do moves, which are and look more deadly, more like straight-to-knockout than close-combat MMA show.

But Charlie Cox improves the fighting scenes performance along the series, and that's great. I would like to know what kind of training he is doing (or his stunt men in any case)

I'm watching the 3rd episode right now, but I think his fighting style in Daredevil is relative to the story. Matt trained himself, so of course he doesn't have any official style. I'm sure Charlie trained with various fighting styles but maybe they're trying to keep it within the realm of Matt Murdock's training.

He (Charlie) talks about the fight training/stunt work in this video. How much is him doing the fighting, versus his stunt double, etc. It's at the very beginning of the interview.

The first two questions revolve around talking about the logistics of the fight styles and the incredible hallway sequence at the end of Ep. 2 of Daredevil.

Yeah the hallway fight was awesome. I loved the microwave lol, and how the camera remained in place the whole scene.

That particular fight so far is my favorite and reminds me a lot of the "hammer fight" from Old Boy. So good!

Just finished ep2. During that fight scene I kept thinking to myself how the creators must be fans of The Raid movies. Good call with the Old Boy hammer fight scene

You must never have read the comics, or know any back story, because Matt did not train himself. He was always trained by Stick.
