She got famous for being on Big Brother in the UK. She later appeared on Celebrity Big Brother where she was involved -- along with two others -- in racist bullying of the Indian actress Shilpa Shetty.
It was ugly. It led to questions being raised in parliament. It almost got Big Brother taken off air.
Shetty won the show, partly due to the grace and dignity with which she handled the situation. She immediately forgave Goody, saying 'Everybody makes mistakes.' Goody, while denying being (consciously) racist, accepted that she'd been horrible and apologised both to Shetty and the viewing public.
All of this happened in the mid-2000s. Goody died in 2009. If Shetty could let it go immediately, I think other people should probably let it go fourteen years after the woman died.
I'm sure she didn't think too highly of you either.
