I will have to agree with you.....his first lines of work since 2010 were really more like walk in roles, minor, or even direct to DVD acting. But to me, it really wasn't until Riddick where he got more lines, and a bigger screen time. He still had to refine his ability though. During that time after filming, he continued on to return to the WWE for a short time while still attending acting classes. And luckily, he struck gold with Guardians of the Galaxy. And now, like you said, if he keeps in great shape, he'll continue on getting work. There aren't many huge muscular behemoths that can act decent, get physical, and portray menacing figures like Bautista can. Hell, look at his recent projected job......he's going to be Tong Po on roids in a new up and coming Kickboxer movie. From what I also know of Dave, he was going for MMA at a certain point in his life so he does have the training to portray such a beast.
