Jamie Lynn is 21 years old who been dating the so called 30 year old guy Jamie for over 3years..on and off. So JL was 18 and he was 27.
He must have some MAJOR issues with women, having to date young ladies like JL.
JL, is cool and have done well with her life and daughter Maddie. She been keeping low profile for last 3 years. I think she seem to be doing well but now not to sure?

I dont know JL's story so Im not applying this to her, but I know a lot and I mean a LOT of cases where a girl is 20 and dating a 28-30 year old.
It depends on the people, if the girl is really mature or if the guy is a bit immature and so on.
It doesn't necessarily mean having women issues, I have seen many couples, and I mean many of different countries (Spanish, French, ENglish) with this age difference and they were sometimes even more emotionally stable than couples where they're both 20. Of course Im not applying this to JLs case cause i don't know it,
I think the age difference is bigger over in the states.
Anyways, Im just speaking from personal experience and don't mean for anything to sound rude, not establishing any facts so no one bite my head off :)
It's just typical of our McSuburbs. We're stubborn about our laws, very religious and a bunch of gloomy prudes in general. It doesn't matter if someone is legal we're going to go back in time with our minds and moan about a couple had they been together a few years earlier. Though many suburban kids are typically pampered, immature and full of bad judgement so the negativity or paranoia of some parents is well deserved. We're not too effective at the whole punishment for said behavior either
