John Oliver or Bill Maher?

I like them both but enjoy Maher's show because he will bring any and all guests to his show and is willing to discuss openly with the guest on any topic.

Refreshing.

I don't like either person, since I don't know either of them.
Liking or not liking celebrities is a fool's game.
I like the Maher show better, even though I disagree with him mostly.
He created a very good format for a show, but the sad part is that to
keep ratings up and viewers from the both aisles watching he has to
pander and attack both sides equally, so he is never really being himself
on the show. Oliver has a better sense of humor, but his show gets too
preachy for my tastes sometimes. Several weeks or months ago he did
a show that slammed Israel for retaliating against Palestinians, without
any context or describing the history. It was annoying and dishonest and
pandered to a fraction of the Left that as a Leftie, I disavow and think are
ignorant and repulse people from listening to the rest of the Progressive
agenda. Palestinians are not Liberal or Progressive, they are as fascist and
totalitarian as a country can get.

Can't stand Bill Maher's constant rants about young people. He's an out of touch old fart.
