Are we encouraging open and honest dialogue......or aren't we?

Chris was clearly having open and honest dialogue with that Extra reporter, just as everyone has always encouraged. We shouldn't be afraid to have open and honest dialogue.....should we?

Clearly Chris is not a racist and is not a bad person. At most, he may simply be somewhat ignorant on how a traditional southern party or cotillion may be perceived as painful to some.

He could have just shut down during that line of questioning. Or, he could have just blindly castigated the contestant who attended those parties. But instead...he was open to.......open and honest dialogue. And for that, he was cancelled and replaced.

Is this really the kind of society we want?
