The Earth's oceans are what moderate the temperaturs of the Earth.

For 3/4 of 2023, the global ocean surface temperatures were totally above the range of temperatures that we've seen over the past 45 years making 2023 by far the hottest year recorded for Ocean temperature (see charts in link below). January of 2024 jumped to an even higher level making it look like it will surpass 2023.

If this doesn't alarm you, you have been breathing too much exhaust fumes.

No, we don't have to admit any such thing. She is not right, and the warmist data you read has been manipulated. All "warmest ever!" headlines are pure bullshit. There is absolutely no scientific justification for climate hysteria.

And I know we’re on GT’s page, but not everyone who accepts the reality is hysterical about it. Flat out denial seems more extreme to me than recognising a problem and supporting a more sustainable future.

A consensus is based on politics not scientific validity.

Oh, and that consensus was misrepresented and falsified by John Cook. The actual percentage is 1.6%.

Everything points to ocean warming. Warm water fish are migrating North to waters they usually don't swim in. Coral beds are dying. The evidence is all around.

The global warming/climate change agenda is a complete scam.

All their green energy policies are money making scams while those turbines and panels are actually harming the environment on every level.

Well the problem is that whether these Climate people are right or wrong, all their solutions are moot unless you somehow could convince China and India to stop polluting and get the entire developing world to stop developing. Allow your kids to live in poverty, allow people to starve to death, and the planet will theoretically start cooling down by some unspecified amount at some vague time in the future. Sounds like a great plan that everyone can easily be persuaded to get behind.

China is probably doing more to curb greenhouse gases than the US is. They have the ability to direct huge amounts of government money to a problem and to compel compliance with any new regulations. I can't speak to what India is doing. Nevertheless, we have our own responsibility and it isn't dependent on what others are doing.
