I am just soo bemused...as to how Common is able to appear in movies such as American Gangster, Wanted and etc...For god's sake, the guy's is stiff and his expression in almost all e movies are the same..
i have watched reruns of "Get Rich or Die Tryin, 50 cent doesnt look that bad..you can still feel emotions thru his actin..
but Common...gosh..either hes got a really great agent..or some great Connections!!
well yeah i get what your saying, but its just hard to believe, atleast for me that people havn't heard of common. maybe his co-stars, but yeah his co-stars arnt normal people lol, their rich actors who are probably always busy and when there not their very self indulged lol.
and yeah i hated that Gap commercial lol i couldnt believe it when i saw it.. if theres a definition of selling out, i believe doing a gap commercial would be listed lol.
but yeah anyone in hollywood who knew anything about hip hop, which is pretty slim apparently, knew about common, but didnt know he was interested in acting.. its just very hard for me to believe for all the time he was making great music he went un noticed.
and as for his roles, i dont think he's going for the exact opposite of the type of music he makes.. just thats what they want and expect of him. its like sorry common you cant be nice in this movie, your the bad ass remember.. lol i think he'll take most roles he can get sadly to say. he is almost 40 so cant blame him.
