Great is putting it mildly I'd say, I sat through 3 episode's of marco polo thinking to myself wow he sounds a lot like prime from that 'the it crowd' episode, was only at the end of the third episode I realised it was the same actor, fair play to Benedict he went done and brought it for this role

The main reason i watch this show is for kublai khan. He is by far the best character on the show. He has a lot of cheesy lines but always pulls them off.

I just finished the Marco Polo series and he was great as the Khan! Hopefully there will be a 2nd season of the show!

No only do i think his portrayal is exceptional, i think his selection for the roll is excellent as well. If you look for some of the surviving art of Kublai Khan the resemblance is unmistakable.
