Why 100 mph was the reason they died?

I honestly can't seem to shake Paul Walker from my mind.

I know I'll probably be burned for this but how could they have died going 100 mph?? I know they died from hitting the tree & pole etc etc etc. But is the assumption that losing control AT 100mph was the problem? Millions of cars go 100 mph so I don't understand how they crashed.

Exactly. No disrespect to his memory, but I think the fact that they did the stunts in specially modified cars in a movie may have given him an overconfidence that was fatal. I really do hope and pray that young people who loved his movies will truly learn from his mistake and be careful. Life is finite and precious - be smart with it.
