Trump reverses Biden crackdown on lightbulbs and dishwashers, returning to 'common sense standards'

President Donald Trump is ordering the immediate reversal of Biden-era green energy regulations on household appliances and the reinstatement of environmental orders issued under his first term.

During his term, former President Joe Biden issued more stringent climate standards for various household appliances, such as gas stoves, washing machines and dishwashers, which energy experts and manufacturers have warned could lead to more expensive alternatives that are far less effective than current models.

Trump, in a Truth Social post early Tuesday morning, called on the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), led by former Rep. Lee Zeldin, to immediately undo Biden's climate mandates and return to "common sense standards."

"I am hereby instructing Secretary Lee Zeldin to immediately go back to my Environmental Orders, which were terminated by Crooked Joe Biden, on Water Standards and Flow pertaining to SINKS, SHOWERS, TOILETS, WASHING MACHINES, DISHWASHERS, etc., and to likewise go back to the common sense standards on LIGHTBULBS, that were put in place by the Trump Administration, but terminated by Crooked Joe," Trump wrote."

It’s a grift, the goal is to steal money through eco-scaremongering. We already know the solution to renewable clean energy - nuclear, and in the meantime there are plenty of fossil fuels to enjoy.

I remember Schumer's mocking tone when he once told a reporter that Democrats aren’t coming for gas stoves. Within two months they were trying to ban gas stoves. Democrats spent four years enriching their donors in the climate industry and we paid for all of it.

And notice that President Trump is not forcing use of these items, he's only lifting bans that were put in place by rabid foaming at the mouth left wingers, whose intent was to control human behavior.

By lifting bans, Trump is letting the marketplace sort things out, as it should be. He is not forcing anyone to produce and use plastic straws, he only removed any bans from them.

I say this because leftists losing their shit about this are, as usual, misrepresenting what has happened, and acting like government agents are about to storm their mothers basements and force a plastic straw into their filthy degenerate mouths.

As a general statment, I just want to make sure for my sanity that the majority of people still think plastic garbage islands are still bad?

Dont let the pendulum swing so far back it smacks you in the face. More attention needs to be placed on waste and what the hell to do with it so it doesn't poison the soil. Clean air is still important to.
