When will Ukraine/Russia War End?

By end of month?

reply

I give it a couple of months, but first we must pay tribute to Z and send him 3 trillion.

Why do you want our taxpayer money to go to Russia? Putin will use that money to move on us in the future.

Whatever happens, I hope any settlement is to Ukraine's advantage.

I almost abstained from voting this election because of Trump's stance on this war. IMO, Putin must be stopped at all costs and I don't think Trump will give Ukraine what it needs most - weapons to defend themselves against a 21st century Hitler.

But I ended up voting for Trump mostly based on the weaponization of the court system to attack a political opponent by a BS conviction. If they can convict Trump over which account he paid his hooker hush money with, they can get any of us. I think that "felony" converted a lot of people like me.

If you commit fraud, you pay the penalty. It really is that simple. Why should Trump be above the law? Do you think you would be treated as nice as Trump has been treated?

If they can prosecute anyone for violating the law, then they should prosecute anyone, including Trump

I pay my hookers in cash, so they wouldn't have caught me..

It's very simple - there is no precedent for anyone committing such a minor crime as paying hooker money from a secret account to be prosecuted to the extent they prosecuted Trump, if at all. Law professors pretty much all say the same thing - at most they would have fined him and most likely would have ignored it if the guy was an unknown. But to do this to a political opponent is astounding and frightening, particularly since the Dems have been dumpster diving looking for things to hang on Trump from *before* his first term even started.

If you honestly don't understand the ramifications of petty third world judicial attacks on opposition, you really need a refresher in civics.

reply

Why is it wrong for a precedent to take place? Every thing that happens, has to happen for the first time.

I understand it. There is no need to explain it to me at all.

reply

It will end when Ukraine makes it too expensive for Russia to continue. Russia is running out of properly trained soldiers. North Korea has lots of cannon fodder to send over, but Russia has limited resources to pay for them.

I think Trump will funnel funds to Russia to keep the war going.

I hope you're right.

reply

Are you an American or a Russian? Why do you want to support the enemy of America?

reply

Sorry, misread your comment. I mean I hope Trump helps Ukraine keep fighting against Russia.

As for the whole Russian collusion thing - it was proven to be a lie made up by the left.

So? What does that have to do with Trump siding with Russia in a war that may eventually threaten Americans in our own country?

If Putin is not stopped in Europe, he will turn east and put his eye on Alaska.

reply

I mentioned it because the whole theory of Trump being in Putin's pocket is a lie.

Funny how Putin took Crimea with Obama in the White House and attacked Ukraine when Biden was President. He did nothing when Trump was president because he is afraid of Trump. Putin didn't even make any "minor incursions" like Biden described the attack on Ukraine which, by the way, gave tacit U.S. permission for Putin to start the invasion. By calling the impending attack on Ukraine "minor incursions", Putin knew the U.S. would tolerate a lot of Russian aggression.

*That's* what the Russian collusion lie has to do with this argument.

reply

Trump is in office now, the Russians are still at war with Ukraine. The argument that Russia would not make war with Ukraine while Trump is in office no longer holds water at all.

Putin knew that Trump would be the next president since November 5th, so why is Putin still at war with Ukraine?

The Russian collusion crap has nothing to do with the war in Ukraine.

You can't be serious. Putin thought he'd roll into Ukraine and have the whole thing wrapped up 2 months or less like Crimea, which is why he decided to try taking Ukraine after Trump lost. Do you think after losing that much in men and materiel, and motivating both Sweden and Finland to join NATO, Putin would withdraw *now*?? If he did, he would have lost everything. Withdrawing now would be a disaster much worse than Trump becoming president, which is why Putin is threatening "tactical" nukes for Russian "defense".

Putie is all-in, he was to take Ukraine or at least a significant portion of it or die trying. Hopefully it's the latter.

reply

Invading was a disaster to begin with. It has been 24 hours, the war is still happening. Where is Trump when the war needs to end?

One of Trump's recent EO's was an end to foreign aid, except for a few countries he likes. Is this part of his plan to end the war by reducing Ukraine's ability to fight?

Now I know you're screwing with me.. Well played.

reply

That is how I call Trump a liar and a fool. Wouldn't you agree?

reply

Trump first trip overseas will probably be related to diplomacy to the end the war.

reply

Putin will probably call Trump to him like he is the ambassador to Russia instead of the POTUS.

reply

He said it ended the day he won!?
