I think the Trump peace plan will involve Americans siding with Russia and eliminating Ukraine as a country.

I dont know, that was the plan though. We will see how this plays out soon enough. I have more faith in Trump than I ever did with Biden or Kamala thats for damn sure. Not sure why that would be a controversial thing to say. Seems pretty pragmatic and reasonable to me after the past 4yrs.
With Biden's support of Ukraine, along with the support of other countries, Russia has not been able to expand back to the territory it controlled prior to the fall of the USSR. I think Putin wants to restore the former USSR to its former glory and Trump will not do a damn thing to stop him.
That is why it is not only controversial to support Trump, it is also very stupid. Trump is a Putin asset and stooge. Very bad news for everyone other than Putin.
How the hell is it in my interest as a U.S. citizen to support a war against the world's second largest nuclear power?
We have no treaty with Ukraine. They have no national security importance to the U.S. So why are my tax dollars going to these Black Sea oligarchs?

The USA has made it their business to get involved with other conflicts for over 200 years. Why stop now?

BTW, Russia invaded Ukraine during the Obama and Biden administrations ,but not during Trump's.
Russia is much closer to paying reparations if Ukraine does not fall. I think Trump may try achieve peace (not likely) by siding with Russia and enabling them to conquer Ukraine.

I am not foolhardy enough to guess Trump's actions. I can't see reparations happening, but I am wrong several times a day.
shareRussia doesn't want all of Ukraine. The peace deal will be that Russia keeps eastern Ukraine, what it occupies now, and the little profiteering worm Zelensky negotiates a multi-billion dollar redevelopment deal with some global corporation.
The Crimea is off the table. It's Russian. Get over it.

The Autonomous Republic of Crimea is an administrative division of Ukraine. It is not Russia. Will you side with Russia when or if they decide to move on into Alaska? Should people expect you to say "Alaska is off the table. It's Russian. Get over it"?
