Walmart is the latest company to warn consumers that a price hike may be incoming.

Walmart CFO John David Rainey said on Tuesday that President-elect Donald Trump's sweeping tariff plan may require the retailer to raise prices on some of its products.

I suspect that Walmart will continue to price gouge no matter what, in pursuit of higher profits. It is after all the American way and free enterprise.

It's probable that a lot of retailers will use this as an excuse to raise prices and blame it on Trump.

@liscarkat.........Trump WILL be the cause of higher prices for the American people with his economic plans. Higher tarriffs on importers will cause those importers to tax us more. I would think Trump should have figured that one out. Economists have been reporting this so it is no surprise. Economists from around the world have also reported that Harris's economic plan was much superior to what Trump plans on doing. Trump is a failed businessman and he is going to drag down our economy like he bankrupted his casinos.

No responses regarding the escalating prices for Americans due to Trump's economic plan? I'm waiting to hear what Trump supporters have to say about this. I'm hoping these global economists are wrong because I certainly don't want higher prices.
