Why do people still back Trump, after everything? 5 things to understand about MAGA supporters’ thinking

For many people, especially those leaning left, Donald Trump’s disqualifications to be president seem obvious, prompting some to question: How could anyone still vote for Trump?

Some of the evidence Trump’s critics cite include his two impeachments, multiple criminal indictments at the state and federal levels and a felony conviction. Opponents also say that Trump is a threat to democracy, a misogynist, racist, a serial liar and a rapist.

About 78% of Democrats and Democrat-leaning independent voters say that Trump broke the law when he allegedly tried to overturn the 2020 election results. But less than half of Republicans think he did anything wrong.

This Tuesday most Americans will vote for Vice-President Harris while MAGA continually snivels about a rigged election.

No. Uninformed, hate consumed leftists will vote for someone with an abysmal track record who will NEVER answer questions put to her. She says she has a "plan" but has yet to say what it is. Despite Trump's faults, he is clearly the better choice.

Too bad you and very stupid MAGAs didn't nominate a younger, smarter and educated candidate for president then you probably would have won in November. Now you are stuck with a dementia patient who is way too old to be president and convicted of 34 felonies. Good luck with that, Cupcake. Now go fuck yourself.

Aw, more insults from the 5th grader. SO cute and impressive! Didn't refute a thing I said, though.

reply

I insult you very stupid Trump supporters because Trump insults whoever hurts his feelings at the moment. Why do you have a problem with my insults when MAGA and Trump do that exact thing? You are a retard.

reply

Lol! Spoken like a true grade schooler who studies Kamala's brand of logic.

If you think your insults bother me, you're giving yourself WAY too much credit.

Still haven't refuted what I said.

They’re brainwashed and in dire need of deprograming.
Most will after Trump loses

After getting to know Kamala better, I would prefer Trump despite all of the damage and annoyance he may have caused in the past. She sounds like she actually doesn't know what she's doing at all for the country, whereas Trump is just a buffoon that loves to play golf.

You think Trump knows what he’s doing for the country? Those tariffs are the WORST idea possible, he has no healthcare plan, doesn’t give a shit about women and their reproductive rights. His border plan when he was President wasn’t just poor, it was cruel. So many children separated from their parents, super expensive for us and little to no progress just a bunch of talk.

reply

Trump is dumb for sure, but have you seen interviews with Harris? She is rather evasive by making vague statements on topics like abortion and just says "Oh, we will show the people how I will fix that", and she also seems to obsessed with "moving forward" without doing much research.

reply

Obama built the cages at the border to house illegal immigrants and started separating children from their parents. Trump became President and said "if you don't want to be separated from your children, don't invade the USA" Under the Biden/Harris administration, there are currently 300,000 miss illegal immigrant children.

Trump has a track record of economic prosperity, national security, and efficiency. Even if you don't like his personality (I agree it can be bombastic), America is no doubt better with him. Harris seems utterly incapable of helping America succeed.

reply

Fucking Genius Trump plans trillions in debt. Eliminating income tax! Trade Tariffs that will make the Great Depression seem like nothing.

reply

He can try to eliminate the income tax, but I think Musk will show him it's not feasible. He'd have to raise the property tax, and Trump himself isn't interested in doing that.

So while it's not feasible, neither is pumping trillions into Ukraine, but we keep doing it. I say let Europe and the UK keep them up. And you've forgotten that Trump threatened tariffs his first term, too. He got investment in America and jobs here, instead of the Greater Depression you're claiming he'll get. I know, because I made the exact same argument you're doing about tariffs, and it turned out all those countries need to sell their products in our country. Imagine that!

You outed yourself and the side you represent with your stolen potato salad recipe, deceitful prick. 🤨
