Trump slammed for flashing smile and making ‘disgraceful’ thumbs up at soldiers’ graves

Trump was surrounded by relatives of the soldier, some of whom also gave a thumbs up in the photo shared by Cox.

In another photo shared by the anti-Trump group The Lincoln Project, Trump did the thumbs up and smiled as he stood at the grave of Nicole Gee, a sergeant. The group called it “disgraceful.”

Trump's actions keep on re-enforcing the idea that he just does not like the military.

I am a US Army veteran and I know Trump hates me. Most veterans I know feel the same way. Without veteran's votes Trump will lose in November.

Army Says Arlington National Cemetery Employee Being 'Unfairly Attacked' by Trump Campaign

"An ANC employee who attempted to ensure adherence to these rules was abruptly pushed aside," the Army said in its statement, using an acronym for the military cemetery.

"This incident was unfortunate, and it is also unfortunate that the ANC employee and her professionalism has been unfairly attacked," the statement added. "ANC is a national shrine to the honored dead of the armed forces, and its dedicated staff will continue to ensure public ceremonies are conducted with the dignity and respect the nation's fallen deserve."

Trump and his party were allowed to be at the cemetery, but they were not permitted to campaign there like they did.

Nope. You made it up. You need to do more research to support your claims.

Trump claims he was at Arlington at the invitation of some families, but Trump lies a lot and has not presented any reason why we should believe that he was there by their invitation.

Trump was the one who agreed to the release of 5000 Taliban terrorists and reduce our troop strength to 2500 as to give the Taliban a better position to threaten them. Trump decided to delay the withdraw until May 2021 instead of taking them out before his newly released terrorists could arm themselves again and threat our people.

Biden also shares the blame, but Trump did not have to put our troops in increased danger just to make Biden look worse.

Not surprising. Why else would he visit Arlington unless he could use the publicity to further his popularity? Unfortunately though he blundered here. The result of this has been some bad publicity that has further decreased his popularity.
