His cool little incel assassination attempt was great for a week, but he'll need a few more to stay afloat. Biden dropping out was exactly what he DIDNT want, and he based his entire campaign on making Biden look bad.

Now that Kalama is in, it's game over for him. There's not as near as much disdain or backlash towards Harris as the right hoped. Meanwhile, the right is lashing out against JD Vance and even Trump is looking for a potential replacement. His NABJ interview completely backfired. His public appearances have gotten worse and worse. Even his miracle ear healed too quickly.

Not that I care much about Harris, but I would agree he's not doing so well. I don't think he really knows what he is doing half of the time anyway when he makes a decision.

I don't think Kamala is a great candidate but there's no doubt she's miles better than Biden. Kamala is at least cognizant (sad that's not the standard nowadays) and her principles are far more modern than Biden. There's also been tons of speculation that she's been doing way more than the average VP due to Biden's mental incapacities. She's not a great speaker but that didn't stop Bush Jr or Donnie.
