Former President Trump has a four-percentage-point lead over President Biden in a national poll released ahead of their first 2024 televised presidential debate hosted by CNN on Thursday.

The latest New York Times/Siena College poll released on Wednesday showed 48% of the electorate say they would vote for Trump, the Republican, if the presidential election were held that same day, while 44% said they would vote for Biden, the Democrat. That contrasts to April’s New York Times/Siena College poll that showed Trump leading Biden by just one percentage point.

Asked whether Biden should remain the Democratic Party’s nominee, 61% said there should be a different Democratic nominee, while 33% said Biden should remain. That compares to 54% who said there should be a different Republican nominee, while 41% believe Trump should remain."

The poll showed 26% of Black likely voters would support Trump in the 2024 election. While 65% of Black likely voters said they would support Biden, Trump’s gains represent a significant uptick since 2020.

According to a New York Times/ Siena College poll conducted June 17-20, 2020, just 5% of Black registered voters said they would support Trump, while 79% said they would support Biden."

Ok, right now, debate or no debate, if this really is true and Trump is garnering 26% of the Black Community's Vote for the November 5th Election, then it's basically over and Trump wins hands down unless there's once again shenanigans like in 2020, but this is HUGE folks, but also, talk is cheap and actions speak louder than words and all the black community has to do is remember when Biden said they're not black unless they vote for him or Democrat in general.. 🤔

I don't see any raw data for this poll? Did they locate 26 whores who claimed to be black and also said they would vote for Trump? Is this where they got their 26% figure?

I guess Blacks don't care that Trump used the N-word when referring to a Celebrity Apprentice runner up. He was pissed that the winner could possibly be a Black person.

Trump has always had one message. "Make America great again". Biden has had many. Most are unintelligible, but now it is literally "I'm okay, really!" The bar is set so low that everyone on the Left is saying just being able to stand for 90 minutes is going to be a victory. His campaign is on the defensive. It's all reactionary which is usually the Republican's wheelhouse. Everything he does and says is a reaction to Trump. Whether it is going to the border or his sudden interest in the black community. Now he has to convince everyone he is not eight minutes from death..
