Newt Gingrich says 'breathtaking' new polling could signal Trump is headed for 'blowout' victory

https://www.foxnews.com/media/newt-gingrich-says-breathtaking-new-polling-signal-trump-headed-blowout-victory

NEWT GINGRICH: First of all, I think we shouldn't assume that Black Americans are dumb or insensitive or incapable of learning. They're looking at grocery store prices they can't afford, and they know it's Biden's fault. They're looking at millions of illegal immigrants coming into their neighborhoods, taking their jobs, threatening their families with violence, and they know Biden is responsible. You turn around, and they know the tools aren't working, despite all the money we pour into the teachers' unions, and they know the Democrats are responsible. They look at big cities where... Democrat mayor after Democrat mayor is corrupt, incompetent, and incapable of serving their interests. So what you're beginning to see is a movement that says… ‘What have we got to lose by trying out Donald Trump?’

I think he will get a higher vote than any Republican since Eisenhower and may, in fact, exceed Eisenhower, because the momentum for the next four months, I think, is all going to be in… Trump's favor… While Trump is at 21 [percent among Black voters] and people are saying, 'Boy, that's good,' Biden has collapsed. The number of Black Democrats, and for that matter, Latino Democrats who are now undecided and potentially could switch to Trump are breathtaking. And that's why you're beginning to see places like … Minnesota, the last poll, Trump's up four. Well, if he carries Minnesota by any margin, he's on the verge of a 1980 Ronald Reagan blowout of Jimmy Carter, and I don't see practically how the Democrats offset reality."

CNN data reporter Harry Enten was stunned Monday after polling found that former President Trump is expected to garner significant support from Black voters.

An aggregate of network polls found dwindling interest in President Biden among Black voters, down to 70% in 2024 from 86% in 2020. Trump, meanwhile, has cut into Biden’s coalition, tripling his support from Black voters over the last four years, from 7% in 2020 to 21% in 2024.

"I keep looking for signs that this is going to go back to normal and I don’t see it yet in the polling," Enten said. "If anything, right now we’re careening towards historic performance for a Republican presidential candidate, the likes of which we have not seen in six decades."

Enten noted that Biden has seen a slight decline among Black voters over 50. However, support for the current president from Black voters under the age of 50 has cratered, plummeting from 80 points in 2020 to just 37 points in 2024.

"I’ve just never seen anything like this. I’m like speechless," Enten said."

TRUMP 2024: SAVE AMERICA AGAIN

reply

And where is this data? You remember that the polls all said that Clinton would win right?

reply

So when Trump loses, are you going to point to these imaginary polls as proof that Trump should have won and that the election was rigged?

I think you already decided that Trump has lost and that the 2024 election was rigged.

reply

That is exactly what these lying cult members will do. All of these people are blatant liars non-stop. Frankly, anymore I resist any discourse with these people because none of them are honest, genuine and authentic.

reply

The left had managed to instill a taboo in the black community against supporting republicans.

If that cracks, it enough blacks dare rebel against that, to the point that the taboo loses it's sting,

That will be absoluting revolutionary for this country. That would change everything.

reply

I think the GOP did that to themselves in part with their war on drugs.

reply

No, it's all the race baiting from the dems since Goldwater.

reply

Just curious, what country do you live in? It can't be the US because the Republican Party is the party of race-baiting. And before you throw out the horseshit line, "The Republican Party is the Party of Lincoln and is the party that freed the slaves"; do your political party research, because back when Lincoln was President, the Republican Party was completely different from the modern Republican Party and was more like the Democratic Party of modern days.

Does this lying ever quit?

reply

How in teh world is the Republican Party the party of race baiting?

reply

See, this is why I try to resist engaging with MAGA. You people lack any sort of honesty when discussing politics. Just openly watch their message and it is clear every single day.

Let's start with the Southern Strategy; how's that? All of George W. Bush's campaign (Willie Horton, et cetera - and yes, now throw in the "that was started by a Dem in the primary, that is true, but Bush and Atwater massively amplified it.

How about Reagan's complaints about blacks on welfare so they drive luxury cars.

George Floyd.

Trump's remarks of how Mexicans are rapists and murderers.

Just turn on FauxNews.

Or how about failing to criticize the white supremacy movement at all, and Trump's they are all very fine people remark. Or how about how the Right focused on the illegal immigrant that killed the young college student down south, but refused to say anything about the white supremacist murdered a young girl and dumped her in a lake right after the jogging murder. There was another white supremacist murder around he same time but I can't recall the specifics, only that Repubican were silent about it.

How much more do you need?

reply

Yes, let's start wtih the Southern Strategy.

I learned about that in public school, how starting with Nixon, the republcians started appealing to southern racist voters with racist or anti-civil rights policies to get their votes.

And I believed it. Because I was a child.

But I eventually noticed that the dems of the day were accusing the republcians of the day of that, while I could see that the policies of the republicans of the day were clearly PRO-CIVIL RIGHTS.

That both partiers were clearly and publicly and formally supportive of civil rights for minorities and had platforms and policies to advance the civil rights or economic interests of minorities. There were serious differences as to HOW to do it, but both sides were in agreement on the goal.

So, at some point I started wondering, when did the republicans STOP doing it, since they clearly where not still doing it, so I went looking in history to find that answer.

And I found that Nixon, Ford, and Reagan, all were publicly supportive of civil rights for blacks and had campaign platforms that reflected that, and once in office had policies that actually did try to support civil rights and/or economic interests of minorities.

This the primary.... evidence of the republicans being the party of "race baiting" is actually simply not supported by the evidence.

INdeed, the constant accusation of racism, while the republicans have been consistently supportive of civil rights,

is actually a way of inciting fear and angry among minorities AGAINST republican whites, ie RACE BAITING.

The "Southern Strategy", as claimed by dems, is a conspiracy theory, not supported by the evidence.

The rest of your list is just as wrong, AND the way you wrap it all up with "it is clear as day", that is perfect circular reasoning.

You "KNOW IT" so, you accept without question the "evidence" and accusations made against the republicans, and those accepted claims, become more "evidence" in your mind.

reply

Race baiting is generally known as using racially derisive language or actions in order to anger or intimidate or coerce a group of people.

Who normally attracts the proud racists like nazis and the klan? That would be the GOP. Who is opposed to removing monuments that praise the confederacy? That would also be the GOP.

It hardy matters that the democrats were strong in the south and the Republicans had a history of opposing slavery long ago. Today's GOP courts the racist vote as much as it can.

reply

To support a claim, give evidence of the claim.

You claimed that the republcians "use racially derisive language or actions to anger or intimidate or coerce a group of people".

But you actually don't give any examples.

You instead make a claim, that certain fringe groups support the gop as though that proves your claim.

It makes just as much sense to imagine that the fringe groups, might OPPOSE the dems just becasue there are more racial minorities in that party.

It is not because the republicans offer any rhetorical or policy support for the fringe groups.

We know that, because the republcian party is constantly and consistently supporting civil rights for minorities though rhetoric and policy.

It is also worth noting that TRUMP's daughter has converted to judiasm, hardly something to endear him with nazis.

reply

I supported those claims in other threads. Why are you pretending to be so ignorant of racists supporting Trump?

Ivanka is not Donald. You need to wise up.

reply

1. Then give your best example of "race baiting" by republicans.

2. I'm not pretending anything. I don't know any members of those fringe groups. I don't trust the words of their leaders. And I see more racists on the side of hte dems. They are constantly saying racist shit or supporting racist policies.

reply

There is something way off in the data collection methodology and this is all horseshit. And watch, a poll like this will be used by the liar MAGA cult members to later declare more phony fraud when Trump loses big.

reply

[deleted]

It is not. And fuck you for the last line. This is why I resist engaging you MAGA Cult members. You are an asshole for even bringing up suicide. My oldest son died from suicide you hateful asshole.

reply

How do you know?? How do you know what the black community are feeling about Joe Biden and the last 4 Years?? You just don't want to believe it's true is your problem

reply

FUCK YOU. Going on ignore, you piece of shit. I hope no one in your family ever takes their own life!

reply

I'm trying not to think too much into the polls right now when there are other polls out there that say the opposite. Trump must win.

reply

Ah, good ol' Newt Gingrich. The one man who is literally personally responsible for the GOP being as trash as it is today. The man who on his first day in the House in 1978 started preaching to his fellow Republicans essentially that "We need to do whatever it takes to beat the Democrats. We need to do anything and everything, no holds barred. Forget decorum, forget dignity, forget honesty. We're in a cold civil war with the Democrats and we can't let them win. If we have to lie and cheat to beat them, then we lie and cheat. Whatever it takes."

They all laughed at him and ignored him for years, until he finally became Speaker and little numb nuts like John Boner [sic] and Mitch McConnell started worshipping him and doing his bidding. The Repugs went full apeshit retard when Bill Clinton was in office, and they've only gone downhill from there.

Anyway, forgive me if I don't really give a shit about whatever bullshit lies Gingrich is telling in the current year. Dude stopped mattering so long ago. But that asshole is literally the one biggest reason we're where we are today.

reply

LOL Trump is gonna lose again and I can't wait for all the Trumpanzees to come up with a new excuse for it.

reply

You don't have to wait. They have already decided that Trump lost the 2024 election due to fraud.

reply

Well I mean shit. If Newt said it was going to happen we might as well just call off the entire damn election.

Newt. Haha. What a fuckin joke.

Trump already lost in 2020 and he will lose again in 2024. And then in 2028. Then 2032 .. and so on. He will lose every 4 years until the end of time. Cause he's a LOOOOSER!!!

reply

I think Trump will expire from the usual range of maladies that affect morbidly obese people like himself, prior to 2028.

reply

I dunno. The dude just seems to keep on going. He's made a deal with the devil. The LOSER DEVIL. hahahaahhahahaha
