Have any Trump supporters watched the Frontline investigation on him?

I was just wondering if anyone watched Frontline's 'Democracy on Trial'
Which examines the criminal cases against former President Trump, examining the House Jan. 6 committee’s evidence and the historic charges against Trump.

How did you feel about it? I've always loved Frontline and Nova, probably the most reputable investigators out there, it was powerful to see so much that I didn't know about just so I could be fully informed about everything.

I'd like to hear your perspective if you defend Trump after watching it.

reply

Notice how none of the Trump rubes here will not tell us what news they consider credible. This is so that they can mask their media illiteracy.

reply

Me personally, I like to have every story verified by multiple sources or checked by more neutral or even hostile sources.

And the more that the person would LIKE for the story to be true, teh more I would like it to be from multiple sources.

reply

Didn't answer the question. Who/what are these sources?

reply

All of them.

Of course, when it comes to trump, I pay no mind the msm.

That's like listening to a drug addict talk about how he isn't really a drug addict and can stop any time he wants.

reply

You are just cementing what Narwhale said about you. This is embarrassing.

reply

My noticing that traditionally trusted sources are not to be trusted now,

is not a ME problem, it is a them/you problem.

reply

Name some sources to be trusted.

reply

Who says I trust any "source"?

reply

Further proving that you are full of shit.

reply

The mainstream sources have proven themselves to be completely partisan and biased.

Other sources are vastly less professional or trained.

That is the reality of the situation.

What do you want? For me to pretend to not know that?

The people at fault are not me or mine for noticing, it is those on YOUR side who choose to weaponize the institutions that were stupid enoiugh to hire liberals.

reply

I want you to say where you get your information from.

reply

i like it most when I can see the people involved speaking their own words.

Congressional hearings are good. Interviews of the people involved are good. Video of people doing shit or discussing their own actions, are good.

Barring something like that, I have to always be reaady for additional information that proves what I first heard to be wrong.

I get the feeling that you want to laugh at me for not trusting the msm.

That doesn't make sense. They are cleary not trustworthy. They have proven that. ESPECIALLY in regards to Trump.

reply

Hey, its okay not to trust the media. I was not asking to make fun of you for distrusting mainstream media.

There is a massive difference between NEWS and COMMENTARY. I get every sense that you are mixing the two up.

Let's take Trump's phone call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. If you say that you trust people's own words, you have direct evidence of Trump Pressuring him to change the state's election results from the 2020 presidential election.

That is the reality of the situation. No one is spinning that. These false claims drove the January 6 attack on the Capitol and continue to damage our democracy. That is not anyone's opinion. That is a fact.

What on Earth are you listening to that excuses his clear and dangerous behavior and why won't you list ANY sources that you have gotten your information from? It's easy to knock down a source once it's been given but there has to be evidence of corruption and luckily for Frontline, it is extremely well vetted.

However, when you repeatedly avoid giving your sources for information, you are trying to avoid scrutiny and it shows that you are insecure about how well it will stand up to the same professional journalism that trusted sources have.

There is a REASON that Frontline is more trusted than CNN or Fox News. Are you going to be brave and reveal where you are getting the information that contradicts the facts presented on Frontline or are you going to claim, yet again, that these programs are spreading misinformation about him without any proof?

reply

Ok so the phone call took place.

You are interpreting that as an attemp to steal the election.

But, if Trump truly believed that the count was bad, then his intent was to prevent bad results from being used.

If the Georgia Sec of State truly believed that the results were bad, should/would he just pass them along and not care about that?

It is also worth noting that this is.... one of the few claims against TRump that is not... highly subjective, shall we say? There is a reason you picked this one and not one of the thousands of other hysterical complaints that I have been viciously attacked for for not believing.

reply

Have you listened to the phonecall?

I'm not 'interpreting' it as an attempt to steal the election. That was what Trump DID. He pressured many people to 'find' votes for him, it was just unfortunate for him that the Raffensperger call was recorded in it's entirety for everyone to hear what he was doing.

Raffensperger, a Republican upheld his duty to the country despite his political leaning for which he should be commended. He knew that the results were legitimate and they were proved legitimate in court, a national hearing and several private investigations.

You have said that at this point it doesn't matter what the truth is, what Trump did or didn't do, you are just sticking to your guns to stick it to liberals.

Please. Please, give me an example of a charge that you think Trump is NOT guilty of.

reply

Except, if he believed that the vote tally was false, then pressuring people to find the votes for him that were not counted, would be completely reasonable.

I like the way that you asserted your view on the election as fact, and presented as though you expect me to accept that.

That shows a LOT of confidence, probably based in a very, very healthy self image.

Good for you.

I feel less good about the part where you make up stuff that I supposed said, and then use that as a base for concluding that I am just "sticking to my guns to stick it to liberals".

Tell me, do you believe that Trump said that some white supremacists were good people?

reply

They are trying to set Trump up for crimes he didn't even commit. No doubt Biden and his little administration is behind this. Trump has been harassed all his life by the people who make him seem like a monster.

reply

What are the crimes he didn't commit that he's being set up for?

reply

nope, before he got into politics , people were happy to let him be a rich egomanaical moron.

Its when he starts really affecting millions of lives people question his suitability.
