I honestly don't see how this move helps Republicans since it just makes Trump look cowardly and like he is acting as if he is entitled to the nomination. Trump will hand the Democrats another 4 years thanks to his antics.

He is always so very pragmatic. He knows that many people would tune in to hear him and in that, he would end up using HIS popularity and fame to give a chance to his rivals to make their case(s).

He is out to win, not give us a good campaign.
