Why do Republicans and Democrats always FIGHT with each other?
Nothing ever gets done that way, and sites like MC just show constant bickering between the two sides, it's really tiresome.
They don't, the only people actually fighting in real life are extremists on either side. Like antifa vs. Patriot Prayer. My aunt is anti-Trump and went to one of those pink pussy hat marches, but when we see each other politics doesn't even get brought up.

Oh yes. Frankly I am a conservative republican and I do not think it should be the job of the government to provide for the people. I do think Food stamps should be available for the poor and needy but I also think people who can work, should work. A lot of able bodied people refuse to work at all or if they do work they insist on only working 16 hours or less a week. They do this so they can stay on food stamps cause they just don't want to work that much. People like this are a problem. As far as I am concerned if you refuse to work 40 hours or more a week, you have only yourself to blame for being poor. And although you might not be able to get 40 hours a week right away at a new job you got to keep working at that place to show the loyalty to your employer so you can get 40 hours. I was able to do it over the course of quite a few years and it took people retiring at my job to do it. That's the problem. People want everything handed to them on a silver platter.
That's why I am a republican because frankly it feels like a lot of democrats are pandering to the type of people who don't want to work. And they do things that effect working people badly. Right now they want to try to make it so in about 10 years you can't drive anything but electric cars and that is just stupid because most people can't afford them. I just saw an ad for one an it was $85,000! What makes Joe Biden and the Democrats think these electric vehicles are going to be cheaper in 10 years? Everything about them is more expensive. Not to mention it won't reduce pollution because there are still a lot of areas that require Coal Burning Power Plants for their electricity to be distributed. So more coal is going to have to be burned and more pollution will be in the air.
But whatever. If you disagree with this, fine. You have that right but the democrats in power in Washington DC seem to think I shouldn't be allowed to think this way.

Agreed. Those who 'refuse' to work should be left to fend for themselves, and not bailed out by the tax-payer.

Worse, they actively try to prevent you from disagreeing with them at all, and remove your voice from society if you continue to exercise your first amendment rights.

Well, presumably the poor and needy are people, and are being provided with those food stamps by the government. Who he previously said should not be tasked with providing for them.
The use of a full stop indicates a separate statement. If he used a comma, or a phrase such as "The exception is poor and needy being provided food stamps.", then it'd be a run on clause.
I'm guessing, based on the rest of his post, is that he meant the government shouldn't be providing for people that are able to provide for themselves.

but they vote "left" to support the working class and maybe getting paid more than minimum wage for those 40 hours and hence be able to live on it .

I'd rather not get into a debate with you but raising taxes on all billionaires and millionaires and raising the minimum wage causes the millionaires who run things to lay off workers in stores and restaurants and replace said workers with youscans. That's happened in the area I live in after they did both things. And minimum wage is $12 an hour. Also me and all my longtime workers only get $2 above minimum wage instead of $5 above like before it was raised. Also new people even if working fulltime don't get raises at all. And the price of everything has gone up because of it. But go head and have your fantasy that this doesn't happen.

For my part, I will ask what have Republicans done, or even tried to do, that would cut done on giving benefits to those who just don't want to work WITHOUT taking away benefits from those who really need them?
Because all I see are Republican politicians trying to outdo each other in having the most restriction on reproductive Healthcare, putting more guns in more peoples hands, vilifying people because of their gender and sexual identity and passing laws to prevent schools from teaching the less cheery parts of our history.
Frankly, I despise the way sex is taught in schools. Frankly I think sex between a man and woman should only be for reproduction. It's what it's really for whether anyone wants to accept it or not.

For one thing, you seem to think that all jobs are equal, just work hard and stick around and you'll get rewarded.
In my experience, you are at the mercy of whatever disposition some angry boss happens to have and whatever good or lousy conditions you are stuck with. Also, people aren't so flexible that they can just go from job to job until they find a good fit.
I don't know how you decided there are legions of Democrat voters who value food stamps over gainful employment, other than that's what Republicans have drilled into you. Most people want to be productive and want dignity and fair treatment. If you want to make up some phony divide between industrious Republicans and lazy Democrats, I can't stop such ugly lies. Live in ignorance and make sure everyone else hears about it.
And most importantly, it's not something bad Democrats have created while good Republicans do such a great job running their businesses. If anything, Democrat employers will much more have the welfare of the workers in mind while Republicans just want to to make as much money as they can with the least amount of investment or concern with their employees.
So you're simply perpetuating that there is some fundamental difference between people who like Democrats and people who vote for Republicans. So it's people like you that make everyone else start to hate the other side because they are told it's simply a black and white situation.
Essentially, you are a tool of Republican propaganda and you probably don't even know it, since Republicans would prefer their base to be hateful and uneducated and just follow the party without questioning.
As far as I'm concerned some of the stuff you said is bullcrap. You seem to think that all republicans are evil corrupt people while all democrats are saints. That's basically what you have told me here. I've lost too many friends talking about politics and I've had some rough moments with family members when discussing it. But thankfully, no one in the family has taken it too far. We all still get along.
