''Woke'' isn't leftist. Woke is just a marketing ploy and falls well under the capitalist market system. Black people make a lot of money for the sports, music and entertainment industry. If they didn't we wouldn't be hearing about them or their plight too much. They'd be ignored by the media.. just like the Hispanics who are largely poor and powerless.
Ever listen to NPR? All they (and the other leftist media) talk about is the poor "oppressed" people of color. They support leftists (Democrats) so what does that make them?

I will never forget the story I heard about a Muslim man who was reaching for his wallet while stopped and shot by police in his car to his death. No media interest. They only care about the race who can make money.
They also care if it furthers their agenda which is the left, not necessarily the woke crowd. BLM doesn't care about "black lives". If they did, black on black violence would be important to them but it isn't because they're leftists.
shareBLM may not care about black on black violence but plenty of other black community outreach groups do. The NAACP cares as with many others. BLM is a group who comes out to the call **only** when a black person is shot to death by a white cop or white civilian. We all know that.
