Climate change is the biggest challenge our species has ever faced
We have failed miserably at problems infinitesimally smaller.
it not something Obama or Greta are going to be able to reverse FOR YOU, merely by cycling to work.
Especially if the other 7 billion people dont do it.
It will take time , everyone has to work together and be on the same page.
Trump did the exact opposite and actively sabotaged worldwide efforts to solve Climate Change by denying it is a problem and backing that up with :
announced that the U.S. would cease all participation in the 2015 Paris Agreement on climate change mitigation, contending that the agreement would "undermine" the U.S. economy, and put the U.S. "at a permanent disadvantage."

Trump was only President for 4 years, scientists have said the Earth is close to 4 billion years old. I am pretty sure Trump is not to blame here. the main problem is that people are only analyzing the past 100 years or so. what was the weather like in 521 or 1021? did it get hot, cold, were there hurricanes and tornadoes? humans are to blame to an extent, look at Houston, the entire city is all concrete and asphalt and it doesnt have hardly any flood control, so when it rains a lot the water has no where to go. thats not mother natures fault, its ours.
People only complain of global warming when something bad happens or when it gets really hot. No one complains of climate change in San Diego, where the average temp is 65. Portland got to over 100 for a few days and suddenly everyone is cursing climate change.
You are right though, we all have to chip in to make a change, but there is no way you are going to get all 7.5 billion people to cooperate. If people were serious, you would have to back to pre-industrialization and reduce the population. but no one is going to give up their phone with 5G. we are addicted to comfort and technology.
saw this on the news last week, Nigeria has over 1000 gas flares currently going on, I am pretty sure that County and Continent could care less about climate change.
