No kidding. And Homeland Security would've had him on their ignore list by now, reporting stuff like that. I'm sure he's not the only well intentioned but slightly nutty "patriot" reporting half his neighbors and a bunch of people on Facebook for wishing our Deal Leader ill. 😳

It doesn't matter what people think. The truth is not a popularity contest. It's not Dancing with the Stars, where viewer votes matter. Trump's negligence has killed huge numbers of Americans and he should be forced to answer for it.

Trump's worshippers don't use logic and reason. Challenge any of them to explain what Trump has supposedly done and you get either conscious evasion, an attempt to direct it back at you with a personal attack, or a what about this Democrat person - or you get the unconscious avoidance that comes from the fact that they don't know. They'll say something like "we have a great economy". Do we? Did we before the pandemic? Are you making a lot more money, do you have a better job? And if you do, is it something Donald Trump did or just the fact that you happened to get a better job?

Look at your own response. Attack on me. Other people would disagree. The anti-truth mantra, I think one thing and you think another, which one is better, does anyone really know what reality is? You haven't disputed any of my points other than to state "I disagree". I gave reasons. You didn't. That actually does matter.

My anger at Mr. Trump and his ass kissing enablers is anything but irrational, it's based on the very real damage they've caused - and continue to cause. Trump's refusal to say a word about an open act of aggression by an enemy government is a glaring dereliction of duty at best. One can think of stronger terms for it. Trump's base is nothing but a cult of personality. Most of them have no idea about (and don't seem to care) what he's done for them. It's just blind support for Him. For a figurehead. That's one major difference between the political right and left in this country. I would never give anyone that kind of fawning devotion. It's antithetical to what America has always stood for, right from day one.

When I say I support someone it means I like most of their ideas and would vote for them. It doesn't mean I believe anything they say no matter how outrageous, or that I'll defend anything they do no matter how completely out of line. And if all they did was blast the other side, say this person and that person sucks and I rule, without giving me a vision of what they think is better, specific ideas that aren't simple minded enough to fit on a bumper sticker or a hat, they'd never get my support in the first place. All that shouting and pumping fists in the air you see with Trump just isn't the sort of thing that gets my blood pumping. I expect a little more from my leaders.
