No, the whole paradigm is shifting. An entire international order will move away from the concept of benevolent, democratic countries rallied around one exceptional superpower, championing democracy, individualism and personal freedom, towards a more Clash-of-Civilizations-like world of authoritarian regional powers maintaining their continental/hemispherical grip over the areas of their immediate strategic interests.

The UK however is set on inflicting permanent damage to itself by leaving the EU. We're stupidly seeking to go it alone, which in reality basically means a race to the bottom in terms of environmental, health and safety, and labour protections.
