Republicans can NEVER EVER claim to be for freedom of speech. NEVER.

When NBC aired his TV show for more than a decade ( despite a slide in ratings each season) did he ever accuse them of having fake news? I don’t think so.

I feel like Trump sits down and opens twitter and thinks, "What stupid thing can I say to troll liberals, now?" It does read like satire. SNL made fun of Clinton in the 90's and he was a Democrat. They mocked "the golden boy" Obama. Trump can't be that stupid!

Trump's insane. No other explanation.

And Republicans say Obama tried to be a dictator. Trump doesn't think a comedy show should be able to mock him?

I support a lot of what he does and vehemently disagree with a lot of what he does. (I do not support his wanting to suppress SNL etc)

Every supporter of every President we have had should be so honest. Many do not blindly support him. Unfortunately many do.

Same goes with those that supported Hillary, and President Obama. As for him, while I never voted for him he was MY President and I supported much of what he did, and of course did not support some.

I wish ALL presidents to do well. THAT is what is good for our country. Way too many people wanted Obama to fail, way to many want Trump to fail and that is wrong. It's just plain wrong.

He wants people punished for making jokes about him. He's hosted SNL twice before. Members of the cast parodied him to his face live on air and he helped. He was also the star of his own Comedy Central roast. Methinks he is a liar tweeting incendiary rhetoric that he himself does not really feel or believe for the sole purpose of riling everybody. He enjoys agitating everybody, he especially enjoys making Democrats scream bloody murder over his tweets.

Amazing he's never gotten pissy about "Our Cartoon President". Cartoons seem to be at his intellectual level....

You know that idea that we can't tolerate intolerance? I think we see that where freedom, or "free trade" for example, succumbs to the political process and we end up with managed trade, and instead of freedom we have all these corrupt "deals" that control trade. So people end up wanting to protect what trade they can with "reciprocal trade". The same thing is happening with speech. Free speech is getting wiped out with college "speech codes" and "hate speech" terms of service. How did we end up with a system where a small family business can't refuse to serve lesbians, but even a public utility like a credit card company can refuse service to conservatives? At this point we're going to need "reciprocal speech". The way it would work if we were to apply it to this forum as an example, is if you were to click the "report" button, your own posts would be the ones that get deleted, because you're against free speech, so you don't get to have any. Free speech is only for people responsible enough to handle it.

No one watches SNL.
