Mexico was encouraging them to stay in Mexico and they would be provided jobs and housing. Some asylum seekers have taken them up on that offer.

Unfortunately, Mexico hasn't been safe for migrants according to a 2017 report:

A real American president would work with the governments of Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala to lower crime in order for people to feel safe to stay. Something is seriously wrong when business owners are fleeing their own country.

The criminal in the White House is too busy obstructing justice, cozying up with foreign tyrants who murder American residents and exploiting migrants by inciting hatred and fear in order to appeal to his uneducated political base instead of addressing the situation effectively.

I seriously doubt that it's people who own businesses that are "fleeing oppression".

Also, if they are "so oppressed", why are they waving the flag of the country they are "fleeing" from? Oh yeah. They love where they came from and are loyal to that country, not the country they plan to march into and make demands here.

If they can organize like this to force their way into another country, why can't they organize and make demands in the country they love?

Crappy jobs with no or few benefits. Most don't have college degrees therefore their jobs are likely low-paying. They were the ones who cried the loudest when their Obamacare was going to be taken away. They cheered the loudest when nationalist Trump promised them high-paying factory jobs. They're the ones who are too stupid to gain the skills and education which is needed to find good jobs. Instead they prefer to scapegoat immigrants for their own miserable lives.

The business owners are being threatened by violent gangs the same way families are. The $210 million tax dollars that nationalist Trump wasted on the military doing nothing at the border for weeks could have been better served elsewhere.

I haven't seen anyone marching with flags, but I do see Trump supporters waving that unAmerican Confederate flag. A bunch of descendants of racists insurgents who attacked and tried to destroy the United States of America. Perhaps they should leave since they hate this country so much and what it represents.

The U.S. allows over 1 million immigrants to enter each year, but you're obsessing over 5k at the border which is actually a very small number. Continue to drink the Kool-Aid that nationalist Trump gives you so that he can continue to manipulate you. I doubt if he has improved your life. Continue to be easily distracted by migrants instead of by what he's not doing for you.

My area is one of the main places in the country where immigrants settle and you don't find me whining. Many immigrants become entrepreneurs opening up restaurants and stores, driving cabs, making deliveries, becoming doctors (you're wrong), nurses, attorneys, nannies, government workers and teachers.

You must be thinking of the Hilary supporters. The ones fully expecting the hand-outs, and whining because they made a decision to take out college loans and now they don't want to pay them back. Let's not forget all the melt-downs when Trump won, and people were in the fetal position and colleges had to cancel classes/exams because the cry-babies couldn't handle losing.

You're right - some of the immigrants do get to earn degrees - on the backs of US citizens who get no hand-outs.

You don't know what you write? Also, where do you get that most Trump supporters have no degrees? Or even that Trump supporters have "crappy jobs"? You won't like it, but I know many Hilary supporters who don't even work, unless you count working the system as "working". One woman I used to work with (supporter of your boy, Obama) thought that due to decisions she made, she should be given government hand-outs. It's only the Hilary supporters I know who think they should not have to provide or pay for breakfast and lunch for their children. They feel their children should get both free at school.

Car loans, mortgages, etc are loans and people understand they have to be paid. Unlike the cry-babies who are now crying they don't want to pay back their college loans.

I don't have anything against all college students. Just the snowflakes who needed counseling (LMAO) after the election, and classes had to be cancelled because they couldn't deal with not getting what they want. And the ones who (as I said above) think they should not have to pay back the loans they chose to take. When Obama won (both times) everyone I know who did not like him just went on with their lives normally. None were in the fetal position, crying, etc.

I also have family who served in wars of the past, serve in the military now as well as friends whose family serve now. But, just for the record, are you saying that if a person did not serve in the military, they should never be president? Why do you never mention that Bill Clinton also dodged the draft?

Then there are the major American companies who want to move their manufacturing jobs to Mexico (and escape all kinds of economic hardship in the USA), which T-rump wanted to keep here. So he handed out major tax cuts, tax incentives, etc. making the blue collar workers suffer. In other words, he enticed them to stay by handing out "corporate welfare" - and none of his supporters seem to mind.

My ancestors did not invade. They came to the country legally, followed the laws and went through the process to become US citizens. They put away the flags of the countries they came from and flew the US flag. They understood they had to make some adjustments to the US culture, they did not expect those born here to adjust to them. They also learned English, they did not expect/demand to be catered to in their language.

Apparently you have trouble understanding what you read. I said they learned English, so eventually they knew and spoke English. Unlike the many times I have seen illegal immigrants, living in the country 5, 10 or more years, "speaking through an interpreter" because they never learned. (In fact, it seems like only people from certain countries never learn. There are still many immigrants who come here legally and do learn English.)

Also, my ancestors came in the early 1900's and didn't "murder" anyone or take part in any "genocide". Nice try though.

Before you say it, they never took any hand-outs and never expected any. They worked for what they needed and wanted.

I reiterate because you are the one who is having a problem understanding. There was mass discrimination against immigrants in the early 1900s because they weren't wanted here.

Trump's father was in the KKK and was at a rally against Irish Catholics in the 1920s when he and three other men were arrested for rioting. Italians, Irish, Swedes, Germans, Asians, Hispanics, Greeks etc were all persecuted and discriminated when they came to the U.S. in large numbers as immigrants.

But the U.S. is a nation of immigrants and makes this country strong. That is an American value and if your family had taught you properly then you would know that. Nationalist Trump has no American values or morality. He sides with foreign dictators like Putin and bin Salman who have attacked an American resident and our electric grid, is a 4x draft dodger who has insulted Gold Star families and war heroes, who has denounced the American Constitution by speaking out against freedom of the press, speech, expression and religion as well as trying to divide the American people.

You and your family are still benefiting from the land theft, genocide and continued persecution of Native Americans by being here.

I doubt if all your food and store bought items are completely American therefore you're part of the exploitation of the very people you condemn for being poor because you don't want to pay a fair price. Yes, they did face discrimination at the time. But they still did what they could to adjust to the country they chose to come to, and understood that the people of the country owed them nothing. And that's the way it's been through the generations. (Yes, I know that now liberals are telling their children not to do that.)

Are these naturalized citizens? If so, your allegations are kind of weird seeing as how a citizen of another country naturalized as a U.S. citizen may retain their previous citizenship but must renounce allegiance to the other country.

The only one not following laws is Nationalist Trump who is illegally denying people their right to ask for asylum which is perfectly legal under both international and federal law. The U.S. can deny asylum after due process, but it's illegal to bar asylum seekers at a legal port of entry which Trump is doing.

Fuck off commie scum. My family came here legally to be functioning members of society....feeding their communities with their farms.

The invaders were offered asylum in Mexico...not taking that offer invalidates their asylum seeker status. When you are allegedly "fleeing" terrible things, you don't get to pick and chose where you flee to.
