Unions run California via their forced union dues that go 100% to the demokkkrat party despite 40% of members being Republican. This is the first step in the people of California taking power back from leftwing extremists that have a monopoly in the state. 4-5 million voters basically have no representation. Long road back for the people of the golden state.

Oh ya, better to have no unions and let the plutocrats rule with bullshit like "Right to Work" legislation which is basically; you have the right to work for nothing if that's all that's available and all the plutocrats are offering. Who needs a basic standard of employment, all those safety regulations cost the employer and for what? To protect the front line workers, who needs that right? Big business is known to do the right thing, oh wait (cough ford pinto case as one glaring example)

Union dues do not "go 100% to the Democrat party", or to the Republican party, either, you lying tool...they go to the union itself and assist with such things as providing financial aid and food contributions to members whenever a strike results in prolonged loss of income.

Yes unions represent the largest donors to the democratic party. As of a few years ago (~2015) 3 of the top 10 political donors were unions and they support the Democrats (who support the workers and not the plutocrats). The other 7 in the top ten were dark money elitist donor groups that hide their affiliations through 501c(3) organizations making all their contributions tax free. Those 7 shady donors all support the republicants because they help the plutocrats get their way, like "citizens United" ( which really gave the plutocrats free reign to influence your elections).

So feel free to cheer on your own demise, the republicants do not care about the average citizen, they would have you destitute in a toxic wasteland if it meant increased short-term profits for the corporate elite. And I can only assume you're not a plutocrat cause they wouldn't spend all day in a forum

Yes the Republicans don't care about you, but the Democrats actively hate you. Yes the unions funded Democrats, but the union members voted Republican. This was a big news story throughout the election. Union leaders were calling out their own members and asking how it could happen. Workers don't care about transsexual pride parades or white male privlidge conferences. They have abandoned you.

This will actually strengthen unions, in the service of their members rather than in the service of corporate politicians. Unions will now be held to a standard whereby they will have to attract workers instead of taking them for granted and abusing them. Think about how the DMV runs versus a retail store. The DMV gets the money either way so the customers actually become an inconvenience, whereas the retail store may try to trick you into buying their product but you at least have a chance not to be tricked.
