The flags of all countries in negotiations are always shown side by side. I swear, if Hitler came back and ran as a Democrat (which he would because he believed in a strong central government, socialism, and gun control), you would vote for him.

Hell, even right-wingers here on this board seem unconcerned and perhaps even THANKFUL to Russia and Putin for campaigning on behalf of the Republican Party (now just imagine their reaction if Russia had been campaigning for Democrats, LOL!).
I think Trump is doing this because he wants his base to almost prefer things like state-run media, enforced nationalism, jailing journalists, trade isolationism, sealing up the borders, etc. He talks about this stuff so much in one way or another.
I was actually just messing around by changing a few words in an old Kayleigh McEnany (GOP spokesperson) tweet that she made about Obama and Cuba back in 2015. Not sure what she's referring to about Obama trashing our allies but I can imagine her reaction if he had behaved toward Canada, France, and Germany the way Trump has.

And I'm an atheist (well more agnostic) so I don't pray. But I'm certainly not hoping something goes wrong with North Korea. I don't like Donald Trump and disagree with the majority of his policies but an attempt at diplomacy with North Korea is certainly better than the alternative. I am skeptical however that Kim Jong Un isn't playing Trump for a fool but time will tell.
Really, if you can't see the difference between the negotiations going on in NK compared to Obama's Cuba photo-op then I do any more. BTW, that backfired miserably. Most Cuban-Americans were horrified that Obama visited Cuba with no agenda. He may have inadvertently delivered votes to Trump.
And I also have concerns that lil' Kim is playing around for more time, but Trump seems to be holding firm on disarmament. I'm sure whatever deal (if any) he makes will be far better than the deal that Bill Clinton made.
