Why did T-rump praise “Roseanne”?

According to Roseanne Barr, T-rump called yesterday to congratulate her on the successful ratings of her rebooted show. T-rump is all about big numbers and big audiences as we all know. So he called to congratulate her on 18.4 million viewers . But why?

Just two nights before, “60 Minutes” scored a whopping 22+million viewers. Millions more than Roseanne. Did he call Stormy and Anderson Cooper and congratulate them? Nooo. It’s all about numbers for him and Stormy and Andy grabbed big numbers - no denying that. So why no congrats to them?

Lots of praise for a sitcom but no praise for s cutting edge news story which can change history? I don’t get it. Any Rethuglikkkans want to explain?

What does Roseanne have to do with Stormy's interview on 60 Minutes? And why would he congratulate some skank who's milking her 15 minutes of fame? Strange post.

reply

Wow - comprehension is truly a struggle for you.

"What does Roseanne have to do with Stormy's interview on 60 Minutes?"

Roseanne has nothing to do with Stormy's interview on '60 Minutes'. Never said she did.

But 'Roseanne' and '60 Minutes' are both TV shows which had major ratings accomplishments within 48 hours of each other. He's big on ratings, we all know that, and big on audiences (he has to lie constantly about his 'crowd size' at every rally and especially about his least-attended inaugural in history). '60 Minutes' beat out 'Roseanne' by at least 3.2 million viewers - so at least 22 million American viewers were interested in the Stormy / Copper interview on '60 Minutes'. Only 18.8 million were interested in "Roseanne'.

So this 'numbers guy' only praised 'Roseanne' and not '60 Minutes'. He didn't call and congratulate Stormy and Anderson. Why not?

"And why would he congratulate some skank who's milking her 15 minutes of fame?"

First off - 'skank'? Have you forgotten he told Stormy she reminded him of his daughter (who is only two years younger than Stormy)? Told Stormy she was 'just like Ivanka'. SO that makes Ivanka a skank, too. Good call!

Second - He supposedly likes smart business people and 'winners'. She attracted at least 22 million American viewers (world wide ratings are not available yet) so she's a smart business woman who knows how to market herself (by telling the truth) and be a total winner.

Why not congratulate her on being this over-night success? Is he jealous of her or afraid of her?

Your obsession with Stormy is getting pretty frightening.

reply

You mean reality is frightening to you? The reality that Stormy - the President's former mistress - is indeed real and not just 'fake news' is frightening to you?

I guess that makes T-rump happy. He likes his base scared and frightened. Easier to manipulate you.

ThreeTenToYuma- I'd be the last person to defend any of President Trump's adultery (but gosh I DO LOVE typing "President Trump" and not "President Hillary", LOL) but what is the left's obsession with Stormy?

Fox News carried some news about her two days ago where she was suing the President's lawyer for "defamation of character". Uh... let's review Stormy's resume. 1.Porn star. Takes off her clothes and performs sex acts for money. 2. Sleeps with rich, married men, most probably for money (or jewelry or something else!)

Defamation of character?? WHAT character? haha

Not defending Trump if all this is true. But he is following in the footsteps of rich, powerful men everywhere. They get the good looking women because they can. And the good looking women trade sex for financial favors.

Something tells me if he was Donnie Trump, head stock boy at Wal-Mart, ole Stormy would not have given him the time of day! And if Stormy was fat, homely and had acne scars, Donald would not have given HER a second look!

The rich trade favors with the beautiful. But that doesn't mean that they are dumb or don't know what they are doing.

I'd still prefer adulterous Donnie to traitorous Hillary!! And I aint afraid of reality! The only reality I am afraid of is the "reality" of that broom riding Hillary occupying the Oval Office!

It's interesting how Trump's base includes more and more people to the left. Now you're even adding some moderate republicans to the left because they too are interested in the Stormy Daniels drama. When Trump's base is already outnumbered two to one, it seems kinda pointless to try to make it three to one.

reply

He's also obsessed with Trump, but I guess everyone is like that idk

reply

"But why?"
A few reasons.
Roseanne said that she and Trump knew each other and he helped her a few times. Public support of each other.

Roseanne voted for him in real life and in the show so Trump and the media are assuming that the show is representing his base.

The media is assuming that all of the viewers are Trump supporters or his base which is stupid. I can't stomach the moron, but I like the Roseanne show. BTW, three actors on the show are also on The Big Bang Theory so those viewers could be watching too.

reply

Probably cause roseanne voted for him according to episode 1.

Either way, "Roseanne" rules and Stormy drools. Her 15 minutes of fame is up. Like we get it, she screwed Trump, but she needs to go already.

reply

Her 15 minutes of fame just had Michael Cohens office, hotel room and residence raided by the FBI. lol! She needs to stick around. This is just the beginning.
